Photo Submission

All photos can be submitted by e-mail until further notice. The main request for the photos is to try to describe their type and list your name and the date the photo was taken. Also, the image sizes required are: 800x600, 300x225 and 150x113. The easiest way to submit is to leave them unedited from the camera and send them as the original size. From there the webmaster can resize them all and post them accordingly.

Features of Edmonton Cloud Formations

Edmonton Cloud Formations is a website that allows users to post and view pictures of clouds. This website is based out of Edmonton and therefore will feature images from the Edmonton Area. The images will have details of their origins as well as a description of what types of clouds are displayed. There will be a community section allowing users to contact other users as well as the site administrators to dig deeper into the community of Edmonton. The images will be categorized in a number of ways: type, date, photographer and popularity. These features will be established over time and will continue to be modified and improved.

The categories of clouds that are portrayed on this website are as follows (in alphabetical order):

Clouds are forever changing and are about as dynamic as anything can get. Each of the types of clouds has their own specific traits, much like human beings. Uniqueness amongst clouds separates them in much the same way uniqueness in humanity separates us from one another as well as nature.

A cloud is simply a gathering of water vapors that form different shapes depending on the reaction occuring.
